I was raised to be open minded eventhough I'm a P.K.(preacher's kid). However I believe that 9 times out of 10 there are rational explainations for most "unusual" happenings. I always try to find the reasonable explaination first...ie.:a door that sticks, a cat making noise, or an old house settling...Never jump the gun, check your own pulse before entering into a,"supposed paranormal environment". "God made all things", some or most of those things he never ment for us to understand, see, or even notice at all, but, that dosen't mean that they aren't there. Ofcourse they are. That's what "FAITH" is for!
Have you had any personal Paranormal Experences
"YES"....hence the phrase "PERSONAL experience"....lol....see below....
The pictures below were taken at my father-in-law's home in Palm Beach Gardens,FL on New Year's Eve 2008/2009. My step-mother-in-law passed away two days before Thanksgiving,2008. This home was her pride and joy. My sister-in-law(my baby sister, as we're extremely close) and a friend of our's now reside there. They moved in just two days before Christmas because my father-in-law now lives with my husband and I in DeLand,FL. Her urn was origionally place on a desk that belonged to her in a corner of the living room. The urn itself is quite beautiful...a large box entirely of mother-of-pearl on the outside. Unfortunately, it is also the same size and shape as a humador. The day before these pictures were taken the "family friend" had a coworker help him move some of his belongings into the house. While taking a break to catch their breath the coworker spotted her urn, and assuming that it was a cigar box attempted to open it. My sister and our friend told the man that it was actually the final resting place of her step-mother and the man was ofcourse extremely embarassed. To keep this from ever happening again my sister's roomate put the urn in the master bedroom closet. An unfortunate mistake made by someone who ment well but just didn't understand... The desk that the urn had been setting on wasn't just her desk, it was also sitting smack in the middle of the house. From that desk you can observe goings-on throughout the entire house without having to get up and walk around..."her" favorite spot in the house. Over the next few days many unexplained things began to happen. The chairs at the kitchen table kept being pulled out into the middle of the kitchen floor when noone was in the room. Cabinet doors were being open and closed, and what was most disturbing were the nightmares. Anyone who slept in the house had identical nightmares that they were being chased by someone unseen. I told both of them to,"Put Her Back!". On Monday they did get her out of the closet but, they did not put her back at her desk...they placed her insted on the desk in the master bedroom looking out over the back garden. The nightmares have stopped. They had their last nightmare on the night before she was brought back out of the closet. However since they STILL didn't do everything that I told them to do, and put her at her desk, the little occurances continue happen from time to time, but now its only occasional. Insted she has been making her presence known at my home 216 miles away and I'm fairly certain that this is due to the fact that she can't seem to get them to listen to her any better than they listen to me, so she's trying to get us to help her... My 10 year old son, my 6 year old daughter, my father-in-law, and myself saw her simultaneously in the middle of the afternoon while standing in my driveway. She was running across my yard toward the front door but vanished before she reached it right before our astonished eyes. Approx. 30 seconds after she disappeared my doorbell rang. My husband, a fire fighter who'd been up all night at a fire, was sleeping in our bedroom right next to the front door. He came stomping through the house and out to the garage yelling,"Tell munchkin to stop ringing the doorbell and knocking, she's waking me up"! Our daughter, who normally loves to play ding-dong-ditch at our front door, was standing right in front of me rooted to the spot she had been standing at for the past 5 minutes just like the rest of us trying to comprehend what we had all just observed, about 250 feet away from the front door. With my husband now outside with the rest of us and my middle son who had been sitting on a branch in the tree at the oppisite end of the driveway reading a book, not paying the least bit of attention as usual, we were all present and accounted for and then the door bell rang again and someone that we couldn't see loudly knocked on the door. Later that night my oldest son asked me if I could please find a way to tell grandma Bonnie to not "show" herself to him when he's alone anymore as it unnerves him. Apparently when he gets up very early in the morning, around 5:30am, after my husband has left for work, but about 15 minutes before my own alarm goes off for me to get up, he sees her standing outside our family room like she's waiting for "grandpa", and the rest of us to get up. He says she's not scary. It just gives him a very unconfortable feeling and it has been going on for about 2 weeks. I said that I would do my best to get the message through to her. What do we have to look foward to in the comming weeks.....your guess is as good as mine..... (I suppose that I'll have to drive down there sometime soon and put her back at her desk myself or else none of us are going to get much rest! 01/18/09) Photo Credit: K.E.Liska 12/31/08
